We offer Show, Breeder and Pet quality kittens. Below is a short description of what we consider each quality:
Pet Quality: These kittens do not meet 100% of the breed/show standards but make wonderful, loving companions. Pet kittens are not to be bred or shown. Pets will ALWAYS be required to be spayed/neutered. Prices start at $600 to $700 (Himalayan lynx points extra).
Breeder Quality: Kittens that meet the breed standard and would be valuable to a breeding program. Prices start at $1200-$1400.
Show Quality: Kittens that meet the breed standard and can compete in a show ring. Prices start at $1600+.
Our Breeder/Show quality kittens/cats are placed with carefully selected breeders and only after checking 3 references, one being from your Veterinarian. All Breeder/Show quality kittens/cats will be co-owned with PhantomAngel Persians. Some individuals believe that because they are not planning on showing a show quality cat, that this entitiles them to pay for pet prices. Show quality kittens are show cats and whether you decide to show them or not will not change the fact they will be priced as a show cat.
Deposits are excepted to hold kittens however, ALL DEPOSITS ARE NONREFUNDABLE. Shipping prices are not included in the above prices. Prices for shipping range from $300 to $400 and include carrier, health certificate, required vaccines, and health exam. Shipping is also dependent on the weather.
If you purchase two kittens we give a small discount as we like to keep kittens together if possible! Please email us or feel free to call if a kitten captures your heart! We can except Paypal.
I reserve the right to refuse a kitten/cat at anytime, to anyone for any reason, period.
If you do not see a kitten of your liking and would like to be reffered to other conscientious breeders, like ourselves, please feel free to ask. We will gladly recommend someone. Please take the time to read the article below.

Kitten Mills, Pet Shops, & Backyard Breeders
While there are many places a purebred kitten can be purchased only one source can be recommended with confidence -- a responsible, reputable breeder. While places like pet shops are motivated by profit and quick turn-over, their cats often come from kitten mills with less than choice living conditions. Kittens are mass produced. These low quality, poorly bred kittens usually have health problems. A reputable breeder only produces kittens for the love of the breed and a dream of overall perfection. Responsible breeders carefully screen breeding pairs, check potential health issues, compliment pedigrees, work to improve faults, and breed to strengthen and enhance a line. They provide the buyer with a written guarantee, provide support and advice to the new owners throughout the cat's life. Reputable breeders usually are members of the local and national breed and cat clubs such as the Persian Breed Counsel, Cat Fanciers Assoc. or The International Cat Assoc. Being a member of a club or selling CFA/TICA cats in itself is no guarantee of quality or an ethical breeder alone. Some people use those memberships as a tool when talking with a less than informed buyer. Cat registries are a good thing and youshould look for that, but there are plenty of other things which must come along with it. A reputable breeder strives to produce beautiful cats according to the standard of perfection for the breed. Equal importance is also placed in breeding cats that have good temperments, are healthy and sound.
A reputable breeder is constantly striving to produce better cats with each generation. Their selection of cats used in a breeding program is a result of years of study plus thorough knowledge of the breed. This type of breeder is trying to produce kittens that are healthy, personable and can win in the show ring. We are highly motivated to do the best breeding possible.
Any kitten sold should be a pet first and foremost, a loved family member for years to come. However, not every kitten produced will meet the exceptionally high standards demanded of a show cat. The kittens, who for one reason or another are not destined for the conformation ring, will then be offered for sale as companions to deserving homes. These kittens have the same genetic make-up, pedigree and rearing process experienced by the show kittens in the litter. These kittens are the ones conscientious, intelligent buyers purchase because they know they will have a cat that was bred because of a love for the breed. These kittens will have had top medical care, including all appropriate immunizations and worming. Other tests(such a PKD testing) may be done and are a benefit to you the buyer and to the seller on health. These kittens will also have been well fed and raised in a clean, stimulating, cageless environment that maximizes socialization and personality potential.
Kittens are raised in a family environment, helps them transfer to their new family with minimum stress. Good kittens are not shy, timid or afraid of anything. These are the kittens that will grow up to be healthy, happy companions for years to come. Contrast this to a kitten purchased in a pet shop. These kittens are usually mass-produced in kitten mills, kept in filthy conditions with little human contact. Most are shipped out of state to sit in a tiny cage in a pet shop. Because the motive here is profit, diet and health care are determined by what is cheapest, not what is best. These kittens are often ill, requiring intensive rehabilitation by the unsuspecting buyer to try to make them healthy. The health history of the kitten's family is unknown (indeed, the parentage is probably even in question), and there will be no support or advice to help the buyer with any problems they encounter. Pet shop kittens are often more expensive than those obtained from a reputable breeder, something a pet store can do because they count on impulse purchasing. You may find that a kitten has a bad temperament, health problems, and is hard to recognize as the breed that was supposedly purchased? STAY AWAY FROM PET STORES SELLING CATS!!!!
Reputable breeders are also an excellent source for cats that are slighty older, out of the kitten stage and the associated problems. Most reputable breeders do not let their kitten go to their new homes until at least 12 to 16 weeks. Older kittens remain beautiful representatives of the breed of which the buyer can be most proud. An older kitten will still bound with their new family just as a younger kitten will. The older kitten however will be more mature and able to handle itself more securely. With the older kitten the buyer will know what he's getting as far as size, temperament and looks. The kitten will have had all their vaccinations, and is already spayed/neutered. These cats are indeed a case of the breeder's loss being the pet buyers gain! Also don't forget the older cat, perhaps retired! Adopting a 6 or 7 year old kitty will still give you many, many years with your new companion.
Because reputable breeders want to make sure their kittens are placed in loving, safe homes, buyers who contact breeders will find themselves going through a screening process prior to a specific kitten or cat is ever discussed. The breeder will want to know about the potential buyer's family, the type of home they live in, past history of pets owned, and how the cat will be housed. The breeder might even want to visit the home to see if it is suitable for one of their special kittens. Some breeders may ask for a veterinary reference as well. Buyers should not be offended by this scrutiny. It is a sign that they have found a breeder who cares deeply about their cats. To them, placement of any of their animals is a well-thought out adoption process. Their goal is to place healthy, sound cats in loving homes where both the cat and its family will have a long, happy life together. A wise buyer will also carefully screen breeders to make sure the breeder is someone they can trust and someone who will be there when needed for years to come. When you purchase a cat from a reputable breeder, you and the breeder become partners in assuring the future of that cat. The breeder will become your mentor and provide advice when you need it. Remember, the reputable breeder's first and foremost concern is the future of their kitten, a responsibility they carry throughout the life of the cat.
While a reputable breeder has done their best to produce cats free of genetic defects and health problems, no one can guarantee none will ever appear. If they do, the reputable breeder will want to know about it. Because producing top quality cats takes a huge financial investment, much knowledge, and extreme dedication, a reputable breeder is committed to breed sparingly only breeding the finest examples of the breed. For this reason, cats sold as companion animals should be sold on a spay/neuter contract with the CFA papers withheld (or not given as they are not needed which is more common among breeders)until the cat is altered or spaying/neutering pets before they leave the breeders home.
Remember, kitten mills, pet shops, and backyard breeders who breed carelessly in the hopes of making money, are all risky sources for any kitty. These sellers lack knowledge of the breed and consider the cats merchandise that becomes the buyers problem the minute the cat goes out the door. A cat is a lifetime commitment. Choose wisely. Buy from a reputable breeder.
